Example B: A lamp, wifi router and laptop connected to the inverter: The UPS will last 8-10 hours.

Think of it like a big power-bank. A UPS is a power inverter unit connected to a large battery which provides power when there is load shedding. It charges itself automatically when Eskom power is on, and when the power trips, it automatically switches over to battery power so that you can keep your WiFi, TV, computers, consoles, chargers and lights running (excluding Apple MAC Desktops only).

Simple plug and play setup. The inverter has a regular 3 pin plug that goes into the wall. You then have a 3-way multiplug on the inverter that allows you to connect any appliance or extension cords you want. Keep the appliances connected at all times, and the inverter will automatically switch to battery as soon as it detects Eskom power is down.

Our plug and play systems will run any appliance that has low power usage, and does not have a motor. You can run TVs, computers, gaming consoles, wifi, lights, phone chargers, etc. It is not recommended to try run Fridges, kettles, fans or heaters as the system will immediately trip. To power those items we suggest a more specialized system.

If you purchase the CPS-2000 then this is easily possible with the help of a qualified electrician. You can power any appliances as long as the total load is less than 2000W.
